Imran Khan claims to announce the arrival date for Rawalpindi tomorrow.

 LAHORE: Imran Khan, a former prime minister and current head of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), stated on Friday that he will set a definitive date for the party's long march into Rawalpindi in the next 24 hours, according to news channel

The former prime minister told prominent media at his Zaman Park mansion in Lahore that he would disclose his future plans and the PTI's participation in the Haqeeqi Azadi March in Rawalpindi tomorrow (Saturday).

On the nomination of the army chief, the PTI chairman continued by saying that it should follow a similar procedure to how the country chooses the Chief Justice of Pakistan. Imran Khan added that his party would appeal any changes to the Pakistan Army Act to the highest court. Imran Khan denied ever meeting Army Chief Gen. Bajwa in Lahore in response to a query. "President Arif Alvi recently met COAS in Lahore, where the only item on the table was free and fair elections," he stated.

Regarding the Toshakhana presents, the PTI chairman stated that he will file legal action in the gulf state against the Geo/Jang Group in London and billionaire Umar Farooq Zahoor for their "character assassination."

He emphasized that the country was on the verge of "economic disaster" and that only early elections could stop it.

The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) is expected to visit the city on Saturday, and the Punjab police have finalised a security plan to welcome them.

In accordance with the security strategy decided upon for Imran Khan following the shooting in Wazirabad, more than 10,000 police officers will be stationed there.

While the lengthy march convoy is being observed by CCTV and drones, sharpshooters will be stationed at the buildings along the route.

Imran added that he would take charge of the lengthy march from Rawalpindi once he had recovered and would come back with his people soon.

Imran Khan would be given "a box security protection in the style of the security of former prime ministers" if he participates in the march.

Additionally, throughout the long march in Rawalpindi, specialized security forces will encircle the container of the former prime minister Imran Khan.

The Punjab home minister claimed that the Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N), which is currently in power, was waging a campaign of religious intolerance. He continued by saying that the plot to attribute the Wazirabad gun attack to religious extremism had already been exposed.
