According to leading News channel, Kenyan investigative journalist Brian Obuya disclosed on Thursday that the postmortem report for prominent journalist Arshad Sharif, who was killed, did not mention the three hours of torture he endured.
The autopsy report created in Kenya did not include any evidence of torture on Arshad Sharif's body, according to Kenyan journalist Brian Obuya, who was speaking to the leading News channel today.
It is important to note that on Wednesday, the anchor of a private TV channel aired a purported investigative report in which he claimed that Arshad Sharif had been brutally tortured for several hours before to his death and provided graphic photographs of the martyr's corpse to back up his assertion.
In order to disprove these claims, Obuya said that one or two nails were taken from Arshad Sharif's hand as part of a standard DNA test. According to Obuya, the nail's DNA analysis will reveal information about the objects the victim touched.

In Pakistan, there is renewed DISINFORMATION and SENSATION over the brutal murder of #ArshadSharif, that is threatening the credibility of the probe. Sections of Media are reporting that the Journalist was TORTURED for THREE HOURS. That "finding" is NOT SCIENTIFIC.

The Kenyan journalist explained, "Sharif's blood samples were also obtained, along with liver samples for chemical analysis. Broken ribs or fingers were not noted in the post-mortem report. Before hearing the doctor who performed the post-remark, mortem's we should refrain from conjecture.Reports allege that #ArshadSharif was tortured for three hours. While an autopsy can reveal torture, it cannot tell "Duration of the torture," such an attempt makes it unbelievable. Part of Sharif's finger nails were retained during first autopsy for DNA. Obuya stated on Twitter that the renewed DISINFORMATION and SENSATION over the heinous murder of #ArshadSharif in Pakistan was endangering the investigation's objectivity. The Journalist was reportedly tortured for THREE HOURS, according to several media outlets. It is NOT SCIENTIFIC, that "finding."
The investigative reporter stated in another tweet: "Reports suggest that #ArshadSharif was tortured for three hours. Although an autopsy can show that someone has been tortured, it cannot determine the length of the torture; hence, such an endeavour is absurd. When Sharif was first autopsied, some of his fingernails were kept for DNA analysis. as demonstrated in the excerpt.
