LAHORE: According to News on Tuesday, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan expressed his desire for senior PPP politician Aitzaz Ahsan to join PTI at a meeting with Ahsan.
Details indicate that the PPP leader visited Imran Khan at his home in Lahore's Zaman Park to ask about his health.
In Wazirabad's Allahwala Chowk, a man opened fire near the PTI receiving camp during the party's lengthy march, injuring Imran Khan, PTI leaders, and workers.
According to the former prime minister, he has wished for Aitzaz to join his political party for 17 years. "I'm waiting for the day when Aitzaz Ahsan formally joins our political party," the speaker continued.
On the outskirts of the conference, Khan also spoke with prominent media. Khan claimed that once he gained notoriety, three persons had intended to assassinate him. He continued by saying that despite taking four gunshots, he miraculously managed to survive the attempted murder.
